Account management
Password, plan, cancellation, GDPR deletion.
Change password
/account → Security → "Change password". We send a reset link to your registered email; the link expires in 1 hour. If you lose access to the email, contact us from an address we can validate against your identity.
Password recommendations:
- Minimum 12 characters (we enforce it at signup)
- Mix uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and at least one symbol
- Don't reuse across services. Use a manager (1Password, Bitwarden, KeePass)
Change plan (Free → Pro)
/upgrade:
- Pick cadence: monthly €19.90 or annual €199 (≈2 months free, 17% discount)
- Click "Start 14 days free, no card"
- Trial activates immediately — full access to all Pro features
- After 14 days, if you didn't add a card, you go back to Free automatically
- If you added a card before day 14, you're charged for the period and Pro starts
The trial is once per account. If you've already used a trial and come back from Free, the upgrade requires a card from day one (no additional trial).
Cancel subscription
/account → "Manage subscription" opens the Stripe Customer Portal, where you can:
- Cancel at period end (Pro stays active until the renewal date)
- Switch between monthly ↔ annual (prorated by Stripe)
- Update payment card
- Update billing address and intra-EU VAT ID
- Download invoices (PDF with BeachValencia Luxury SL VAT details, with VAT applied where applicable)
After cancelling, you keep Pro until the paid period ends. Then: back to Free, your watchlist gets trimmed to 5 items, you stop receiving the daily report and dip detector — but your data and simulator are preserved in case you return.
Delete account (GDPR)
/account → "Delete account": confirm with your password and we delete:
- Profile, preferences, watchlist
- Personal simulator history and associated narratives
- Billing events (except invoices, retained for the legal minimum: 6 years in Spain)
- Your row in
auth.usersand all derived data
The process is irreversible. It executes within ≤30 days per GDPR legal requirement. You'll receive a confirmation email when initiated and another when completed. If you change your mind within that window, you can contact us to halt deletion.
